The Detroit Polo School offers a Beginner Polo Program that is dedicated to teaching the game of polo.  Our professional instructors and seasoned polo school horses will help you learn strategy, playing skills and the rules of the game.  A combination of lessons, practice games and clinics allow you an opportunity to learn in a fun and safe environment. 

 

Riding experience is not required to learn to play polo.  Our instructors will teach you the basics of riding while learning to play polo.

 

We have 4 levels of players at our club:

• Beginner Polo Players

• Coaching League

• Club Practice Chukkers

• Club Level Tournaments

 

We offer both private and group* lessons. Safe reliable horses, tack, mallets and all provided and helmet, as needed.

 

Lesson Packages:

Private lessons: $125

Group Lesson: $100/rider 

5 Group Lessons Package: $450

*Group lessons consist of 2 or more riders (we make the groups – you simply sign up) with cost $85 per person for a 1 hour lesson. You can form your own group by taking a lesson with a friend.
